Senftenberg Lakeside – Lake Senftenberg

Senftenberg’s lakeside beach consists of two spacious bathing areas, both of which are designated as clothing-optional beaches. Here you’ll find extensive sunbathing lawns with trees, unspoilt bathing coves and small sandy beaches. The larger section stretches for around 1,000 metres from the playground at the town harbour to the Gaumensegel. Another beach stretches for around 500 metres from the town harbour towards the Strandhotel. Both areas are accessible only on foot or by bike. The pier at the town harbour is home to the landing stage for the passenger ferry Santa Barbara. Between the two beach sections lies the ‘Green Classroom’, which invites visitors to relax and learn amidst nature.

The town harbour is home to the harbour master’s office, a tourist information point and public toilets.
