Horse-riding in the Lusatian Lakeland

“From the back of a horse the view runs over the landscape. Ripe corn on far fields change with expanded pasturages. Light brown horses without bridle romp about on the meadow. Wild foals jump between the full-grown animals.”
Horse friends can enjoy that feeling in the “Terra Nova” area. The 1.200 hectares large area of this world of experience is homeland of different endangered wild animal species. Beside aurochs, Galloway-cattles and Jacob sheeps also graze rare Przewalski horses on the fields. The shoulder-high animals with the sand-coloured fell are the last living ancestors of the today living horse breed. In the heart of the world of experience you will find the Pony- and equestrian farm yard. 60 kilometres of bride paths and 400 hectares large area offer unique possibilities for horse rider. Beginners are affectionately cared by trained horse teachers.

In many yards are regarded riding and draught horses for leisure time and for the amusement ride with coaches and charabancs. Of course riding and jumping instructions are offered by trained staff. Terrain-rides into a spectacular landscape, daily child support and summer holidays at the equestrian farm yard can be booked on the Partwitzer Hof (Klein Partwitz).
